The Company does not have a specific program to employ former felons. We conduct background checks of each applicant after an offer has been extended. We make background check determinations on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of all laws and regulations, as well as the nature of our business.
The “case-by-case” part is good because it means you’re not automatically disqualified just because you have a record.

Other states are good about not looking at any cases where you were found not guilty. The states that won’t include not guilty cases in a background check are the following:

- New York
There are still many states that will look at your whole record, including any not guilty verdicts. Those states are:
- Indiana (extensive)
- New Jersey
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Rhode Island
- South Carolina
- West Virginia
